The news gets sillier by the day.
Just when I thought it was safe to return to the news……BAM! There are so many issues that would mean a better life for Americans and we are still playing the gun card……why?
It seems to get silly by the day…..let me reiterate…….There is NO one coming for your guns! Not today…..not tomorrow……with that said there is still so much conserv crap going on that it is difficult to keep a sane eye on the developments…….I believe this is the second such “LAW” to be enacted……..

The Family Protection Ordinance that was approved unanimously by the city council in Nelson, population 1,300, makes gun ownership mandatory for all heads of household, the AP reports. The ordinance, however, makes exemptions for convicted felons, people with certain disabilities—and anybody who objects to gun ownership.
The councilman who sponsored the measure says he believes it will make the city safer, even with the exemptions. “I likened it to a security sign that people put up in their front yards. Some people have security systems, some people don’t, but they put those signs up,” he says. “I really felt like this ordinance was a security sign for our city. I heard an interview with a councilwoman who said…..”this does not mean that someone will come to the house and demand to see your gun and if you do not have one there would be a cost” And then she said…..”ownership is purely optional”……….NO matter how many times one reads this……it is just silly.
I thought….why enact a law to mandate gun ownership if it was going to be optional? And then I remembered………” According to the council’s agenda, the ordinance is also a move to block “any future attempt by the federal government to confiscate personal firearms.”
